Please vote above for the pitcher you felt had the best month of April. You may use almost any criteria you wish in judging each player's month. The one exception is that we ask that voters ignore a player's prospect status - in other words, please don't vote for a player based on the fact that you think he will be a better major league player down the road. However, to be clear, you may use other criteria in judging the candidates relative to one another that go beyond stats, such as age relative to level and the like. Just don't pick, say, a top 10 prospect over an org guy based solely on that. Voting for this poll will close Monday at 2:00 pm. The candidates: Ty Buttrey: 4 GS, 1-0, 22.0 IP, 2.45 ERA, 17 H, 8 R (6 ER), 3 BB, 22 K, 2.55 G/F, 0.91 WHIP, .210 BAA, .593 OPSA, 9.00 K/9, 7.33 K/BB Jacob Dahlstrand: 4 GS, 3-0, 23.0 IP, 1.96 ERA, 14 H, 6 R (5 ER), 6 BB, 14 K, 1.74 G/F, 0.87 WHIP, .171 BAA, .459 OPSA, 5.48 K/9, 2.33 K/BB Joe Gunkel: 5 G, 1-0, 2 SV, 12.2 IP, 1.42 ERA, 6 H, 2 R (2 ER), 3 BB, 12 K, 1.17 G/F, 0.71 WHIP, .143 BAA, .438 OPSA, 8.53 K/9, 4.00 K/BB Brian Johnson: 4 GS, 3-1, 21.0 IP, 0.86 ERA, 12 H, 3 R (2 ER), 9 BB, 24 K, 1.58 G/F, 1.00 WHIP, .164 BAA, .431 OPSA, 10.29 K/9, 2.67 K/BB Michael Kopech: 3 GS, 1-1, 13.2 IP, 1.98 ERA, 6 H, 3 R (3 ER), 2 BB, 11 K, 2.25 G/F, 0.59 WHIP, .133 BAA, .415 OPSA, 7.24 K/9, 5.50 K/BB Eduardo Rodriguez: 3 GS, 2-0, 18.2 IP, 1.93 ERA, 12 H, 5 R (4 ER), 1 BB, 16 K, 1.35 G/F, 0.70 WHIP, .182 BAA, .482 OPSA, 7.71 K/9, 16.00 K/BB Full April stats

I hadn't realized that Brian Johnson was striking out quite that many guys.
Plus, holy smokes, Eduardo Rodriguez's K/BB rate...

Eduardo Rodriguez, I cannot wait until Pawtucket comes to Rochester so I can see them back to back nights.
