What the heck happened to Cecchini with his 2.6% walk rate and 28.6% k-rate? Maybe he should go back to Salem and start over.
edit - Fangraphs just updated, make it 2.5% and 30.9%.

Victorino expected to join Portland tonight on a rehab assignment. Castillo finally ahead of him on the depth chart, if only for a game.

Under the heading of what do I know, but to me Cecchini exhibited pronounced vulnerability to low and inside pitches whether hard or off-speed when I saw him on TV within the past year. It looked like he had a big hole.

Back to back walks by E-Rod and then Sands hits a 3 run bomb.

Miserable night for the hitters. Only three runs total in four games, five, including the parent club. Buttrey one bright spot, though Jerez continues to rack up the Ks.
