Metheny Manifesto

Just started reading this book which is based on Metheny's letter to parents who asked him to coach a 12 year old travel team. Appears to be some good advise for coaches, parents, friends and families who may put subtle and not so subtle pressure on young kids to succeed which can suck the enjoyment out of sports for these kids. Should be required reading for every parent, family member and coach. I know that I will change how I coach and watch my children playing sports.
