This may be a record for doubleheaders in a day for the Sox system.

Isn't it a little strange to play a suspended game from almost a month ago? How do those rules work if no one is left on the roster that was on it back then?

One month isn't even that long, honestly. You just play with who's on the roster. I remember being fooled once that a guy who'd retired about a month into the season had come back when looking at a box score (Jonathan Hee I think?) of a game that was resumed like 3 months later.

I was just about to post this exact same thing, and I do think it was Jonathan Hee. And I think it was like three months after he retired. Like an August game after he'd retired in May or something.

So theoretically, you could use like 40 guys in one game? That's strange. That's only a minor league thing, right?

Shame some aren't split up and during the daytime so we can watch some kids all day and night.
Edit:
What meant is that it's already thundering around here.. So looks like probably no GCL Tigers game today.. :-(

Now if the MiLB app included DSL/GCL scores and alerts, this day would be perfect.

No. MLB too. anyone on the 25-man that day is eligible, even if they were not on the 25-man for the beginning of that game weeks earlier. Obviously, anyone removed from the game already, cannot re-enter. And anyone currently in the game and no longer on the roster (for example on the DL) needs to be replaced immediately. Obviously.

Yeah, I want to say there are incidents in history of players playing for both teams over the course of a game that was suspended.

Not a bad start by Gerson "The Animal" Bautista. Signs of life from Jalen "GCL 3-peat" Williams piggybacking.
Downs and Rusconi both made their debuts, and was Ramos' first game in the field on his rehab, easing him back into it by putting him in left.
