New number 1! A bunch of big jumps! The debuts of 6 draftees!
Are we smart? Stupid? Fire away.

Rodriguez has 41.1 IP MLB. Assuming he does 6 IP every 5 games, when would he graduate? would there be a new #1 in Aug?

Great job overall with this update. My nitpicking two cents:
- Devers over Moncada - Benintendi - Owens - Johnson instead of Johnson - Owens - Benintendi - Espinosa over Marrero (and maybe Guerra - its close) - Chavis over Ball - Dubon up a few spots over Shaw - Logan Allen up from the mid-30s to the mid-20s

The ranking for Marrero seems high to me? He doesn't have the contact rate to be a contact hitter, and he doesn't have the power to be anything else. His good line at Portland stemmed from a .350 BABIP which he hasn't shown either before that or since. Would guess he settles in around a .600 OPS in the majors, which is fine for a utility infielder but would make him one of the weakest starters in the league. Then again, even a talented young pitcher like Espinoza is *so* far from the majors. Projectable mediocrity or potential stardom? So I shouldn't quibble. Seems to be the flip side of Devers vs. Margot. In that case the younger/lower player with the high ceiling gets the top billing.

I would like to see a spirited battle for the #1 spot once short-timer ER graduates. Its tough because Moncada carries a grade 7, which I don't think should be given out lightly. I could see YM, RD and MM all being 6.5, making the 1 spot in Aug up for grabs.

This might be an overly simplistic way of thinking, but if you considered Barnes as a reliever, I'd argue that Light is a better relief prospect and should rank at least where Barnes left off before graduation. I'd also swap Marrero and Guerra, as they are very similar players, but Marrero is doing it at the AAA/MLB level and Guerra only projects to get there. I guess the young age gives him a higher ceiling.
Overall this it is in line with what I expected. Great list guys, keep up the good work.
Add, also I love seeing the 8 ceiling on Espinoza. Makes me feel all tingly inside.

My favorite part of the update was seeing Espinoza's 2-8 grade.

Keivan Heras was released. If I am not mistaken didn't he have a great 2014 in relief. Just curious as to what happened to cause his release so quick.

Probably can say this now, but he never showed up this year. Was just over baseball. Word has it he is now a goat farmer. Yes I'm being completely serious.

The spreadsheet Dick posted does a great job of conveying that information each month. But for the hell of it: Swihart, Blake Barnes, Matt Witte, Jantzen Portland Celestino, Miguel Portland Haley, Justin Portland McGrath, Daniel Salem Jimenez, Dedgar Greenville Kemp, Trenton XST

This made me go look at it too (I wasn't sure that anybody else ever did!) and I found I should have looked at it sooner. Nothing major was amiss but I fixed the following: - The start of season ranking I was using was from 4/30/15 but it was labelled as some time in September of '13. Fixed
- While I was at it I also changed that start of season date from 4/30/15 to 3/23/15 which is the closest I have to the 4/9/15 that the front page rankings on SP use. There were some differences, but none in the top 40.
- The AAS column was listing the level (e.g. AAA or A-) instead of the calculation of the player's age minus the average age for the level. Fixed.

I don't think that there's 60 prospects in this farm system who are better than Tzu-Wei Lin. Maybe 40 but certainly not 60 plus!
