Nick Duron might be a good candidate for a bump up to Lowell. Jalen Williams also pitched well in the GCL morning game as the starter.
Sean Coyle had another 2K's in 4 AB's, maintaining his 50% K rate in the GCL rehab stint (28 PA's).

Todd to the DL, Shawn Haviland (signed this week, apparently) to make the start for Pawtucket. Also, Jemile Weeks starts in CF.

Haven't been paying close attention to Pawtucket.

Are there any reports on Benintendi's arm? He's got 6 OF assists in 23 games; is it just a fluke or does he actually have a cannon?

Yoan with a leadoff dinger (6). He has now 4 from the right side against 2 from the left side. He's like Swihart in that aspect of his game: Hitting for avg when hitting lefty and hitting for power when hitting righty. I like that!

Just got home from Spinners' game. Well pitched game. Rivera showed quite a bit of range and a solid arm at SS. . Benintendi smoaked a ball to RF that put the RF up against the fence. Basabe also looked very good with a couple of well hit balls, including 2 run walk off single in the bottom of the 9th. My boys were pretty happy as they scored an autographed ball and TMNT shirt off Basabe's back. He seems like a nice kid and chuckled when I told him that we will see him Fenway in the next few years.

Also liked this play of Moncada at 2B from tonight. Obviously didn't make the play, but still pretty good effort:

Another impressive game from Yorvin Pantoja (17 y/o Venezuelan LHP, DSL2), 5 8 1 1 2 8, lowering his ERA from 2.89 to 2.79 and his FIP from 2.95 to 2.80. All 8 K's were swinging.

Still a little wet from the Powerade bath he took while being interviewed after the game. I enjoy your work. You take some great pictures. PS- interesting anocdote before the game...I was sitting near the end of the Spinners' dugout where people were gathering for autographs. Someone had Magee sign a mini Buccaneers' helmet and he let it slip out that he misses football and plans to try out for the NFL again next year. So there is even more relevance to him having his walk up song be Fox NFL Sunday theme song.

Haven't been paying close attention to Pawtucket. Sorry, I think that came off dickish. Unintended. But yeah, they were even starting Craig in RF and Bianchi at 1B for a bit, so Berry must've been dinged up too. Explains the Rivero trade in part - they really need reinforcements there, especially if Shaw and Marrero are going to stay up.
