Have there been any updates on Brian Johnson's condition?

Marc Brakeman making his pro debut today, starting for the GCL. I would expect him to pitch an inning or two before giving way to De Jesus.

I guess they want Bautista available for a game 3 start.

The wakeup of pitching in the pros. The first two batters Brakeman faces in his professional career get singles.

Has anyone had an eye on Jorge Marban this year? He has cruised through Salem, Portland and now Pawtucket with pretty great stats. Wonder if he'd be worth a look at in September. 1. I am pro-Marban. MiLB free agent in OCT.
2. Seadogs to face Justin Marneau on a Rockies rehab assignment 3 games this weekend in NB CT
3. Nothing much new on Brian Johnson on the Game Notes of 8-27 "The PawSox have six players currently on the 7-day disabled list…INF Jeff Bianchi (August 21) with a left ankle sprain, RHP Jess Todd (August 6) with right triceps tendinitis, LHP Brian Johnson (August 3) with left elbow inflammation, OF Carlos Peguero (July 21) with a right wrist sprain, INF Sean Coyle (July 4) lower back strain, and OF Bryce Brentz (June 19) with a fractured left thumb." www.milb.com/documents/2/0/6/145758206/August_27_2015_Notes_d6f3asr8.pdf

I can't blame any pitcher that is just terrified to throw strikes to that Greenville lineup.

Jamie Callahan with 4 innings of 1 hit relief. 8K's and no BB's. He seems to have found a home in the bullpen. Maybe there's still some potential there.

Does anyone know if he is pitching out of the stretch exclusively, or if he is still using the windup with the bases empty? His numbers with men on base have continued to be pretty bad in the 'pen, and 14 of the 23 earned runs he's allowed were across three of his outings. Says to me that he's still prone to the big inning when things start to go badly.

Greenville moves ahead of Asheville for playoff spot. Overall record.
Those in Hartford area can likely see Seadogs on TV this weekend. 24.3 CPTV. At least on Antenna TV. Not sure if that channel is carried on Cable.

Yea, though in fairness he stunk when he was drafted too. Teams just can't help themselves even in this day and age.
