O'Sullivan really has incredible movement on his offspeed pitches.

2 runs in the last 44 innings?
Portland looks even worse then last year...

2 runs in the last 44 innings? Portland looks even worse then last year... Consider that a request to Salem.

Rei with a nice strikem out throwem out to end the 3rd. He's also pretty athletic looking.
Matheny takes impressive at bats.
There have been several very nice plays by the Mets guys. This game could have been a blowout.
Lakins done 5.2 IP, 5H 1R (unearned) 2BB 9K
Both Salem and Greenville up 3-1
Boyd done 5IP 1R 5H 0BB 5K
Both team now have heat on the mound, Cosart in.
After exiting the game yesterday for unknown reasons, Chavis didn't play today.
Greenville won 5-1 Salem won 3-2 Portland lost 2-0 Pawtucket lost 5-3

That Greenville team is showing signs of being better than expected. The lower levels of the system have a lot of talent.

And they said this system lacked depth.

Nice start by Lakins. He's been pretty much as advertised so far.
The Ockimey/Chavis/Washington trifecta is on fire.

Drehoff 6G 8IP 4R(2 earned) 7H 0BB 11K 11>8>7
Drehoff as a reliever 5G 4.9IP 1R (unearned) 2H 0BB 7K (2 SAVES)

Bobby Poyner's control is really good. He allowed only 2 walks in 34.2 ip. He looks too advanced for A level.

The original story is gone but this shows up in google search:
m.weei.com/taxonomy/.../free-agent-snapshot-torrey-smith?... 4 days ago - ... breaking his right hand in an altercation with a teammate in the middle of March, Red Sox right-hander Michael Kopech has begun playing catch in Fort Myers.
Also Carson Smith has been throwing simulated games, should be back soon (my speculation). . . . I see Henry Ramos is on the DL.
Ryan Kalish, Zach Daegas, Bubba Bell, Sean Coyle, Jed Lowrie, Bryce Brentz.... . . . Team Home Runs: Red Sox 13 PawSox 8 SeaDogs 4 SalSox 5 Drive 24

@carson_Smith39 See ya later sunshine state, wheels up to Boston! ✈️
*from poster rominer at Uponthemonster
I assume that if he's flying to Boston that he'll appear in Pawtucket.
I don't see any of the media tweet people with that. Perhaps an SP staff member could find it and retweet it. It appears to be a legitimate account.

And they said this system lacked depth. I'm actually very happy with how that next tier has been performing. Without seeing how the rest of the brass will be voting, I predict that the lack of depth combined with some strong starts means a good amount of movement from the teens through the rest of the rankings on May 1.
