Great stuff. Lefthanded pitchers do not seem to have caught on quite yet. They keep throwing him stuff that he can hit or so it seems. The walks haven't kicked in and I hope it stays that for at least a few more months of the season.

There's a first time for everything...
Chicago White SoxVerified account @whitesox According to STATS, tonight is the first time in @mlb history that four first place teams have all played in the same city on the same day.

Am I the only one who is oftentimes motivated to slam a beer upon seeing Christian Vazquez's genuine enthusiasm behind the dish? Is that the one with Jonny Gomes on the bottle? If it's got J Gomes on the can don't you have to drain it in one long gulp, crush the empty on your forehead, and then almost die for the sixth time?

Them actually swinging at middle-in fastballs is beautiful.

I like Adam Eaton a lot. Reminds me of Victorino, dude covers a lot of ground, nice presence at the top of the lineup ...

I can't think of many worse tortures than if Owens had to pitch in a World Series game for us.

I can't think of many worse tortures than if Owens had to pitch in a World Series game for us. He's a taller version of Dice K with less of a fastball. And less control.

Hanley had a nice run of playing well there. A mistake was bound to happen, I suppose.

Losing a bases loaded opportunity on two hard hit balls isn't fun.

Feel like Owens could use Vazquez back there, they (presumedly) have some level of rapport, and with his control issues the framing prowess might be able to help at least a little.
