I'm seeing 8 total prospects in minor league ball with 15%+ BB%, .200+ ISO. Ockimey is at 21.5%, .284.

I thought Ockimey might take a step forward this year based on reports from this site. It's very encouraging that he's on pace to get a midyear bump to Salem.

Well he's never torn up a level before, so I have no problem letting him mash for the first half of the year at least.

It might be good for his confidence, but he won't learn much when pitchers are throwing completely differently to him than they will when he moves up. It's like Harper who is ready to be promoted again.

He screams Singleton to me, admittedly that may be optimistic from a prospect standpoint. Agreed. when are the Angels and Nationals going to promote Trout and Harper. They aren't being challenged.

Benintendi picks right up where he left off. 2 hits and an OF assist. The guy is like a machine.

Alex Speier @alexspeier 10m10 minutes ago Joe Kelly allowed 1R on 5H in 5IP for Pawtucket; 1BB, 3K. His final two pitches were 97 and 98 mph fastballs to punch out Gary Sanchez.

I am not a big Dubon fan but it should be notable that his K% is only 6.5%. Slightly higher than Bennyball (5.9%)

Wilkerson with another strong outing; 6 IP. 0 R, 4H, 3/5 Bb/K. Now at 1.69 era, yet he gets little mention among our prospects. He is 26, a late bloomer, but has done nothing but win since he joined the org.

Super late addition to the thread, but I was at this game. Fun note. Joe Kelly had back-to-back hitters murder balls to center for a triple and a double. Then he threw a ball in the dirt and yelled "F***!" loud enough for the entire stadium to hear. Then he threw 97 and 98 on respective fastballs to strike out Sanchez.
On a more serious note, a ton of hard contact against him last night. More than a few hard lineouts.
