With the Sox on a day off, I was hoping for a televised MiL game. But Pawtucket and Portland off too. No Moore Charlie for me, either.

It would be awesome if they televised the Salem game, since like you said, they're the next top team in play.

Kyri Washington just destroyed a ball over the monster in left for Greenfield. 9th of the year.
Tyler Spoon hit a ball off the center field wall but only got a single out of it on a bad baserunning read from Tate Matheny. Ball was absolutely crushed by Spoon though.

Sorry if this has been discussed recently, the game day threads elude me during draft week. But Moncada still in Salem is starting to irritate me a bit. Let's take the training wheels off of our $31m wunderkind. I know he strikes out a bit more than we would all like, but he also walks a ton and is sporting a .420 OBP. Pair him back up with Benintendi and get it over with.

I've watched moncada a bit now and I am not sure he is picking up the spin of pitches. He seems to know a fastball, after that it is all guessing,
Maybe staying in Salem is not such a bad thing for him to gain more experience.

Moncada finally looked like "Moncada" for the first time in the four games that I've seen him. His first "2B' of the night was a 1B for nearly everyone else, but he was quick out of the box and got to second easily.
His second double was a missile off the wall in LCF. Now that Salem has clinched, I would imagine Moncada gets the bump up some time in the next 10-14 days. Unless they see something that he needs to work on that doesn't show up in the #'s, there is little reason for him to still be at A+ ball.
Devers made another nice play at 3B, his only real tough one on the night and he handled it smoothly. Offensively, he just missed launching one, but still overall doesn't look nearly as polished at the plate as a lot of other guys, albeit they've been in the pros for a year or more longer.
First time I've seen Kent. He looked really good. No radar, but he seemed to have the POT hitters off balance for pretty much his entire outing. If it hadn't been a clinching scenario, I think he may have stuck out there to try to get out of his jam in the seventh. Meanwhile, Callahan managed to not give up a run for the first time in eight outings.
Also, Dubon is just flat out good in about every aspect. He won't blow you away with anything, but everything is smooth and if he can add some bulk, he could really start getting things to the alleys
