Maybe Pawsox can hit Pat Dean better than the Red Sox did?

A lot of offense out of the low minors today, including Guaimaro's first pro HR.

Stanley Espinal and Nick Hamilton are both having a nice little start in the brief GCL year so far.

This would typically be the time where I come in and say that Wilkerson's stuff doesn't merit a shot, but... at this point, why the heck not?

It might be time to start throwing everything at the wall to see if anything sticks. I saw Lucas Giolito (from AA) is starting tomorrow night for the Nationals.

Of course he's skipping Syracuse. On the bright side the Nationals have let Trea Turner sit here for months for god only knows what reason.

My main man Keith Couch giving up lots of hits and with a Henry Owens K/BB. My faith remains unshaken.

Afterall they are both 6'3" 200lb right handed pitchers born in Texas 187 miles apart and went to High School 116 miles apart who both throw a fastball, curveball, changeup, and slider. Might just be a diamond in the rough.

Wilkerson's schedule align's with E-Rod's. So it makes sense to call up a RP for four more games.

I agree to give Wilkerson a shot. Our system is full of these 88-91 SP FB's. Unless it's for a controllable TOR guy, we need to keep Kopech & Neo at all costs. With Groome, we could (I repeat) could have a nice trio coming up together to form a nice staff like the Braves had a few years ago.
