Price vs. Tillman on Wed evening. Big game. Winning both games in Camden Yards would be huge - obviously. So would losing both - might also be the end of JF.

Both games are big. Yankees leading the BJ's in the 6th is big. Sox sweep the Birds and win the division, does BS loose his job?

I already like the Eduardo Rodriguez versus Gallardo matchup. I say that and Gallardo will have his best game of the year, and Rodriguez will have a clunker.
Hope not. Got to at least split the series.

Btw, what's the over/under "fire jf" references on this thread?

Btw, what's the over/under "fire jf" references on this thread? Well, it's only a two-game series. I'll say 20. But being reasonable, only 15-19 of them will have merit. --- Pete Abraham @peteabe 14m14 minutes ago Chris Young was 1 for 4 for Pawtucket. He is 2 for 9 in three rehab games so far. #RedSox want him to get 25 or so plate appearances. Rob Bradford @bradfo 22m22 minutes ago Henry Owens allows one run over seven innings tonight. In his last four starts, he has a 1.57 ERA with 29 Ks. Warrants watching.

Price went 5 IP and let up 5 ER, and tied in the 9th 6-6, Kimbrel let up 3 on the Chris Davis bomb.

Got to at least split the series. The way the season is going, after lighting up Grienke, I can see Gallardo pitching a shut out. Then we throw up a 10 spot on Tillman.

Gotta keep the momentum.....this could be the beginning of the separation we need. Play the best ball possible, leave it out of the managers hands, if for any reason at all, to keep "Fire JF" thing from being mentioned..over....and over....and over....and over...and over....and over....and over.....and over.....and over....and over.....and over.....and over....and over....and over....ad infinitum.

Fun series with decent pitching match-ups.
All that to say... who knows.

If Bogaerts wasnt doing so terrible lately we would be fine. We would have swept the yankees if it wasnt for him.

I like this lineup a lot. Betts protecting Dave should give the big fella an opportunity or two. Gotta step up tonight, Eddie! Big ballgame!

I'm so excited for this series, especially after the attempted throwing at Mookie's head earlier in the year. I have a feeling the Sox are going to go in hungry and emphatically sweep; this will be the defining point in their season and they will never look back. Knock on wood... but its time to show up the O's at home.

Leon moved up to 6th in the lineup tonight after Hill was apparently scratched.

Ridiculously early, but MFY beating the Blue Jays right now, I don't like it. I trust the Jays to choke more than a team managed by Girardi.

I hope this is not the kind of game where we're facing a crappy pitcher who can't strike anybody and puts tons of men on base and we can't score any run.
