Gameday had it as a 4 seamer, but 90.something, so it's definitely not that. It definitely moved like it was a slider, away from the right handed batter. Sliders and cutters are pretty close to the same thing. Sliders usually have a little more movement.

Just stress-ate an entire bag of tortilla chips waiting for E-Rod news. Gotta love meaningful baseball in August!

Vance Worley's curveball was the hardest pitch for me to hit in MLB the Show '12

There it is again. I don't really like Barnes here for a third inning, hope it works out.

Barnes is noticeably tiring.

Why do you bring in your worst pitcher here? Farrell truly is one of the dumbest managers ive ever seen.

Farrell still continues to absolutely overlook Robbie Ross. I really don't get it.

I think every fan in Soxprospects knew that Abad was a bad choice. Somehow Farrell didn't.

well if you can't hit the corners, might as well throw it right over the plate.

Guys... I don't think Fernando Abad is very good at all. John Farrell is A VERY BAD MANAGER.
That literally cannot happen from beginning to end. That's as bad as a managed move as you'll ever see. How does that happen? These are must-win games. How is that allowed to happen?

Another game the bullpen will cost them.
Abad is awful. Just like that the 3-0 lead is going up in smoke and they'll lose another game they should have won.

Dumb trade when we already had Layne. This team doesn't need a loogy. Farrell has no idea how to use them.
