Please vote above for the player you felt had the best month, and discuss your selection below in the thread! You may use almost any criteria you wish in judging each player's month. The one exception is that we ask that voters ignore a player's prospect status - in other words, please don't vote for a player based on the fact that you think he will be a better major league player down the road. However, to be clear, you may use other criteria in judging the candidates relative to one another that go beyond stats, such as age relative to level and the like. Just don't pick, say, a top 10 prospect over an org guy based solely on that. Voting for this poll will close Monday at 3:00 pm. RP Jake Cosart (GRE/SAL): 9 G, 0-0, 0.95 ERA, 19.0 IP, 8 H, 2 R/2 ER, 11 BB, 28 K, 1.00 WHIP, 13.26 K/9 RP Victor Diaz (GRE): 10 G, 1-0, 5 Sv, 0.00 ERA, 16.2 IP, 8 H, 0 R/0 ER, 8 BB, 25 K, 0.96 WHIP, 13.50 K/9 SP Michael Kopech (SAL): 6 GS, 4-0, 2.73 ERA, 29.2 IP, 11 H, 10 R/9 ER, 15 BB, 50 K, 0.84 WHIP, 15.17 K/9 SP Roniel Raudes (GRE): 6 GS, 2-3, 1.30 ERA, 27.2 IP, 20 H, 9 R/4 ER, 6 BB, 22 K, 0.94 WHIP, 7.16 K/9 SP/PB Hildemaro Requena (GCL): 6 G, 3-1, 1 Sv, 1.91 ERA, 33.0 IP, 22 H, 8 R/7 ER, 2 BB, 27 K, 0.73 WHIP, 7.36 K/9 SP Robby Sexton (GCL): 6 GS, 0-1, 1.80 ERA, 20.0 IP, 15 H, 4 R/4 ER, 1 BB, 23 K, 0.80 WHIP, 10.35 K/9 SP/RP Dakota Smith (LOW): 7 G, 5-1, 1.30 ERA, 34.2 IP, 30 H, 9 R/5 ER, 7 BB, 26 K, 1.07 WHIP, 6.75 K/9 August/September pitching stats

Diaz gets my vote, goes beyond the last month, he hasn't given up a run in 2 in a half months. My winner but I would like to note Glorius had a 1.55 era in 24 innings with 24ks, 0.98 whip in his last month. Batters hit under .170 in August and September. Better stats then half of the other players you listed. Just a note!

Yeah this was a pretty open field with no clear winner. I also voted for Diaz, in part because I heard a lot about him in the spring, and he really struggled early on. It's good to see him adjusting and finishing the year strong.

A lower K/BB than ever pitcher on the list except for Cosart, who had half the ERA and a K/9 over 13. I wonder if he had a run that changed from unearned to earned at some point?

Sexton had 23 K's and ONE walk. That's absolutely ridiculous.

Well I am mistaken, you are correct! His era was a 1.9, regardless, Diaz is my clear winner, the kid straight pitched over the past couple of months.

The walks are out of control on a lot of these guys. Had to go with Sexton because of that.
