Here's an apt tweet that just got posted to ESPN - "Craig Kimbrel is going to be a nervous postseason watch for Red Sox fans."

This scrub ass pitcher is going to walk in a run isn't he?

The Yankees are on him just like they were on Price.

He is over throwing causing his pitches to go all over the place.

They're telling Kimbrel to just let him hit it out and we can celebrate.

Dominant performance by our "elite" closer here. Brilliant stuff.
Makes you really confident come October.

Think of how weird this game has been. tropical storm like weather. Buccholz (and Mitchell?!?!?!) unhittable. Papi scores on a Layne pitch that ended up a passed ball. Mookie with a big hit that was a top spin grounder just in front of the plate. Our closer walks them loaded then walks in a run - the Sox clinched when the O's rallied - and we may lose this yet.....(thankfully, just the game)

Way to seize the moment, Kimbrell. Good thing Hyun Soo Kim bailed your ass out.

He is over throwing causing his pitches to go all over the place. This is a good point. It's hard to imagine Kimbrel being less effective throwing 95 with greater command

One way they can avoid using Kimbrel is to make sure they lead by 4 or more in the 9th.

This is bizarre. The only thing I can think of is that he got all amped up to close out the division clincher and then got out to the mound and found out they already clinched and nothing matters. Idk man, just really strange.

How in the world do you walk three hitters in a row up 3-0?

What's the excuse for Kimbrel this time?
Bad knee? Too much rest? Too little rest? Weather? Red Sox already clinched?
What a terrible trade.

Man I like Kimbrel as a closer but when he loses it, he can't do anything. It's weird how someone can be fine and on a roll then just lose everything

How in the world do you walk three hitters in a row up 3-0? That can happen when you literally have no clue where the pitches are going when they leave your hand.
