All it took was Rondo getting hurt. That was huge, but so was inserting Green for Johnson.

Shoot I forgot this game was on with the awesome Sox game on today. I'll watch the replay. Looked like a blowout. Onto the wizards I think?

WCP (and others) can rest easy. Ford among the layoffs at ESPN. Stein and Abbott (TrueHoop) too. I had my opinions about Ford, but it doesn't make me happy seeing anyone get laid off. Letting go of Stein is another in a long list of comical decisions by ESPN.

All it took was Rondo getting hurt. Obviously that was a factor, but I don't buy into the notion that it's the only reason the Celtics won. Too many people are using Rondo's injury as an excuse for the Bulls while discounting the impact of the tragedy. We'll never know the extent of the impact, but it can't be discounted either. The fact of the matter is that Chicago is a bad basketball team. Once the Celtics remembered they were the much better team, this series was a wrap. Rondo's injury just expedited the process.

Good comeback series win for the C's.
I don't think everyone realizes just how devastating the death of IT's sister was for this team. Just think about how normal human beings react to being around someone who has just had that kind of loss. You don't know how to act beyond being remorseful. You cant laugh, you cant enjoy yourself, you cant play music or anything out of respect for the person who is mourning. Nothing is normal, in fact everything is turned on its head. And in the end you cant play without it being on your mind and if something other than Bball is on your mind you cant play freely. The team deserves credit for coming together and overcoming this tragedy.

Expedited? They were down 2-0 in a seven game series. It couldn't wait any longer. Was that the only reason they won? No, but fact is it was huge and this squad still has a lot to prove. I'm happy with the win and think it was important for them; hopefully it's the spring board they need to be more confident.

Avery Bradley might go down as my most loved but frustrating Celtic. There's almost nothing not to admire about the player or the person but he can't be trusted to stay healthy.
He works on and adds to his game every offseason. When he gets into a groove of playing all the time and healthy he's not a star but he's a very very good player who plays within a team and doesn't require the ball in his hands to score or be effective, but those stretches always seem to be too short.

Reports say they think they plan on bringing in Wojo and company from the vertical, hence the cleaning out of NBA talent at ESPN.
I will miss Ford. I'm sure he'll land somewhere and I will continue to follow him.

We woild have been an All Star snub at worst if he was healthy earlier in ther season especially because the Celtics would have had a better record.

I think the Jazz/Clippers game last night went exactly way the everyone that wants Hayward here in Boston wanted it to go. He played a great game and made some great plays on both ends and they still may lose the series now and It could make it easier for him to leave. Because the Jazz have the worst offensive gameplan i have ever seen in a team that has made it this far! I would love to see what Gordon Hayward could do with this team. I think he would be on the 3rd Team All NBA next year.

The thing that hurt Celtics more than missing Bradley, was it took him a long time to get back to playing well when he came back.

The Celtics record without Avery Bradley was pretty great if I remember correctly. their record would have been better if he played more. They were 19-8 in all the games he missed this year which means their winning percentage without him was better than with him. I'm not trying to say they are better without him but the way it worked out I'm not so sure their record would have been all that different. Maybe 1-3 wins...

The Celtics second unit needs to take advantage of the terrible defense of they Wizzards second unit.

Remember early in the year where some people here were debating Wall vs Bradley? This series will be interesting to watch in that regard.

It's truly remarkable how every 50/50 call goes against this team. I really wish they'd publicly call out the league for it.

The foul situation is so outta whack, I almost have to tip my cap to the refs for not even trying to hide their bias.

Al Horford has been worth all his weight in money in this game.
