I moved a political tangent to its own thread in the off-topic forum.

I'm nervous. Hate to see Papi go out after a sweep in the DS.
OTOH, I'm happy we made the postseason in the first place.

Gotta put up runs in the first inning. Get the mojo flowing and ride that wave. Time for Betts and Bogie to show up in the batter's box.

I really don't want to stop watching baseball yet....throw the kitchen sink at them and find a way.... I'll repeat and bump this post since baseball didn't happen yesterday....

As I wanted in game 4 of the 2004 ALCS, I just want them to show up and play a tough game more than anything. I'd hate to get embarrassed in the last game because it lingers all offseason.

Weirdly calm going into this one. This is a lot more than an elimination game. Hard not to think about it as a fan.

Are we sure Bogaerts is good at baseball?

And, when Buchholz obsesses with runners on base he struggles.
Keeps throwing over with a very slow runner on. Bad, bad sign.

Huge out there getting Napoli down without runners advancing.

I really would like an explanation on what the hell happened with Bogaerts there.

I really would like an explanation on what the hell happened with Bogaerts there. Replay showed he had trouble locating the ball in the sky.

I really would like an explanation on what the hell happened with Bogaerts there. Looked to me like he lost the ball, don't think it was the wind. Good job by Clay picking him up. Now get some runs.
