Usually just posting the link works (but not always and I don't have any idea why or why not).

Thanks, I didn't even try that because it hasn't worked for me before. This guy is Indiana Jones cool.

I don't know how to post a twitter GIF but this one is amazing, check it out: Anthony DiComoVerified account @anthonydicomo Many consider Luis Guillorme the best defender in the Mets' entire farm system. Need proof? He just. Did. This. . . . lol and now it's being retweeted all over the place. Played on HS travel team with Longhi, Chatham, Shaun Anderson, as well as other minor leaguers not in the system.

Glad to see them put a stop to that absurd delivery before others started experimenting. An addition to Rule 5.07 stipulates that a pitcher may not take a second step toward home plate with either foot or otherwise reset his pivot foot in his delivery of the pitch. If there is at least one runner on base, such an action will be called a balk under Rule 6.02(a). If the bases are unoccupied, then it will be considered an illegal pitch under Rule 6.02(b). This adaptation would appear to be a response to Padres reliever Carter Capps' unusual and controversial hop-step delivery.[/quote] I wonder what's the call if MLB sees a illegal pitch thrown? Automatic ball or walk to first base? Never seen that. Probably never will see that either.

Should have posted this earlier, but Shelby Miller had a great outing yesterday. 3 IP, 1 hit, no runs, no walks, 6 K's. I know its spring training, but there were encouraging signs for him.
His command/control good(albeit not spectacular), he was able to keep his FB velocity around the mid 90's, and he moved at a fairly quick pace. Maybe it's just because I have an affinity for Arizona teams, but I think Miller is poised for a very good comeback year.

If he did, I think it looks even better for his outcome. IMO velocity is one of the best things to look for in ST, and for him to consistently be in the mid 90's in early March is a good sign. His career high for FBv is 94.0 with the Braves in 2015. I wouldn't expect his career velocity to improve very much, if at all, but his early velocity this spring combined with good command of the plate are all promising signs for him. Hopefully he'll finally provide some value for Arizona.

He had a 116 career ERA+ heading into 2016, so some level of correction is likely. Whether it was part of the reason he was so awful last year or not, it really has to suck to have the team that traded for you so thoroughly lambasted for it. It's going to be hard to unwind his career from that trade, which isn't really fair to him but is also part of the game. Ernie Broglio was a pretty good pitcher before the Cubs got him.

Lol good luck Tebow. You're facing the reigning Cy Young award winner in Porcello.
I like our chances. ;-)

I've never been more of a Porcello fan than I am right now. Him striking out Tebow, than to say he was "more of a NFL guy" when talking about Tebow. Acknowledging that he wasn't a real NFL QB. Then he thought he was the ball boy.
You're the best Rick Porcello.

In the sun in Chapel Hill watching Bukauskas pitch against strong UVA team. 6 ks in 5 innings plus 1 hr. Started throwing 96-7 then the second time through mixed speeds more FB more like 94-5 until he reached back for a a 96 for a k. Only 6'. Throws very smoothly but maybe all the force comes from the arm. UNC up 4-1 threatening for more

His attitude always reminds me of Bumgarner. They're afraid of nothing, and they're not afraid to show it.

I just spent an hour laughing at his twitter feed. What a funny guy. Anyone remember the name of the total minor league character we had with the great blogs and profile pictures ? I'd like to see whatever happened to him.
