Mata was the probable Greenville pitcher as of yesterday afternoon. But they've apparently bumped Daniel Gonzalez back down to Greenville.

I see Josh Ockimey just committed his 10th error and we aren't at the half-way point. I know his profile as a defensive player is a "work in progress", but that is worrisome for a 1st basemen.

On the other hand you have Nick Longhi in AA with 856 chances (20 yr old) and one error in Salem and 330 chances so far in Portland with one error (21 yr old) Good solid def 1B, bat heating up........

Equally concerning is his SO rate, now running over 30% per ABs. Continuing problem from last season at Greenville.

Pretty sure K rate is based on PA's and with Ock's BB rate, his K rate per PA's is much lower than his K-rate per AB's. So his K rate is 24%. That may not be great, but it's much better than 30%. And it's a slight improvement over last year's 26%. Still an area he needs some work on. I think it's more palatable for someone with his walk rate, though.

He's at 24.4% right now with a 15.3% BB rate and he never pops up while hitting a ton of "air balls" (Line drives and fly balls) He's having a fine offensive season so far.
