That ump must of thought Calhoun was Papi as bad as that strike call was.

Lol that last strikeout by Porcello was 3-5 inches off the plate.
Thanks for the early Christmas, ump.

Ugh.
First of all, hit the cut-off man.
Second, catch the ball!
No reason for a run to score there.

Why does this offense go into hybernation so much.

Why does this offense go into hybernation so much. Imo, it was only a matter of time before this Meyer kid settled down a bit for the Angels. He has great stuff.

Why does this offense go into hybernation so much. Well in this game it's because they're hitting line drives right at people since the 1st inning. Moreland just hit a 112 mph out. Edit- and look at that, a 68 mph double and 350 foot HR for two more runs.

I've been hard on Hanley - but if a near Pesky pole homer indicates his bat will wake up, that would be great news for this line up.

The Pesky Pole special: You love it when it's for you, it makes you mad when it's for the opponent.

Wow, Henry Owens is really broken - 8 more walks tonight in four innings. He is going in the wrong direction.
On a brighter note, Chavis says hello to AA with a home run!

I don't blame Marrero for bunting, but you need to make a better bunt then that.

I don't blame Marrero for bunting, but you need to make a better bunt then that. I sure do. Not a fan of that move in general, and on the first pitch by a reliever with a man on 3rd and just one out. Just hate everything about that.

Marrero is sure a joy to watch playing third.

Marrero is sure a joy to watch hitting . I give the guy credit, he is trying and the effort is important.

Bull fing crap on that call on Xander. If that's not allowed, they may as well ban slides.

From the very first replay, seemed Xander never even touched second, missing it w/ his feet, and didn't make an attempt w his base-side (lest) hand, no?
