Hanley should of had third on that bloop and it might cost the Sox a run here. I thought the same and it did cost the Sox a run. Plus, Hanley didn't read that was a FOUL BALL that Suoza caught?(was a hell of a catch) Hanley should've tagged on that foul out.

Some players have intangibles that add great value despite shortcomings. Other players manage to negate their impacts with their failings. I for one will be thrilled when we've seen the last of Hanley.

Very big holds by Price giving RS a chance, even with their struggling O.

I am generally concerned about some members inability to see the forest for the trees when dissecting JF decisions. As a general rule of thumb, when JF gives someone a day off......he means a day off. Even the X situation a couple of days ago was an extra inning deal and he tried his best not to put him in the game. So he gave a reason for not pinch hitting Bradley, but it wasn't the reason. JF is a guy who uses wordplay when speaking to the media. This is just my opinion, but I am pretty confident in it, based on history. If that's the case, then I see it as even more contemptable with Bradley getting 4 days off after today's game. That level of rigidity, especially with a game against a surging division opponent on the line, seems to border on the absurd. It would be more justifiable if they were in the middle of one of those 18 or 20 game stretches without a break, but with a guaranteed hiatus coming up the idea that "He does gives us a better chance of winning the game and may play an inning or two, but hey, I said he gets a day off and I mean it," would be the worst justification of all.

The glass slipper is slowing falling off Moreland. He'll be a positive pickup no matter what, but JBJ needs to get in the clean up. Mookie 3rd. Need to see if lineup change can mitigate this offense inconsistency.

Like I said....please make Hanley go away! He carried himself like he doesn't give a **** - and makes so many mental errors. Enough!
Would love to read Dombrowski's thought bubbles when Hanley pulls this crap

OMG. Can we petition MLB for a replacement runner when Hanley is on base ?

Hanley too careful on the basepaths before costs a run, too aggressive this time costs the inning.
Also serious buzzard luck on Jackie's swat there.

Shoulda kept Lestah. He's an ACE. Jon Lester gave up 10 runs without even making it through the first inning today.

There you go, Pedey...and in case it doesn't dawn on Eck & OBi, DP likely was doing a slow burn, as close as the Sox have come to putting a run or two on the board this game, only to see a very animated Chris Archer, after avoiding "damage", a few times, this game...
...nice animated "return of serve", Pedey!
