Todd Walker strikes me as a cigar smoking, scotch drinking, card playing kind of dude.

I've seen Benintendi strike out on a few pitches that I don't think can be accurately depicted on Gameday.

I have to watch the Baltimore telecast because of blackout rules in NC. They just showed a stat that Pomeranz has the best run support in the AL.
That being the case, let's put some runs on the board early and often.

I feel like a broken record but....
Brock Holt has no business getting any playing time.

Lineup out. Pedrioa out and expected to be back tomorrow. Sam Travis in at DH versus a RHP. I think we are seeing Travis on the playoff roster over Young. Young actually has hit RHP recently and he's not starting tonight. Eh, maybe? this will be Travis's 4th start in September to Young's 3, but they've only had 2 games against a LH starter, so it's tough to make much of it. Young has started every single game against a LH starting pitcher this season. Travis getting a DH start against a RH doesn't mean that Farrell thinks more of him facing left-handers.

Nice throw, Benny!!
edit. This outfield is just a joy to watch. What a privilege it is to see these guys turn in stellar defensive performances night after night. I never thought I'd like an outfield as much as I collectively loved Lynn, Rice and Evans. I'm wavering.

They should rest Pomeranz after this start.

Just turned on the game and noticed the O's have a no hitter going. Meh, we got no-hit through 5 two days ago. I don't even care that much about winning, I just hope that Pomeranz goes long so we don't use much of our bullpen (and if we lose we only have to pitch 8 innings in regulation) and that we don't get no-hit.

The latest example of two teams with two different strike zones. This is becoming ludicrous. The Sox need to document on tape what is going on and raise hell with MLB.

They should rest Pomeranz after this start. Ideally, but unfortunately they can't put the Yankees away and Pom is their best pitcher right now.

JBJ!! Some of Poms curves are getting hit pretty well. Needs to bury that thing lower in the zone.
