It's almost laughable how bad Angel Hernandez is.

Its hard to take the league seriously with an umpire like this in a playoff game.

My heart goes out to Ian Kinsler for his comments on Angel Hernandez this season.

These guys make hitting a HR look so easy. Like we can't even get one all postseason.

what's the use in complaining? The guys better start doing damage earlier in the count. A change of approach is needed.
also, Drew better get this shit also, if that is the way it is going to be.

The Sox are screwed. Just no way to put that. If Drew Pomeranz cant get these guys out, then they have nothing here.

I don't know whether this is supported by stats, but it seemed to me that RS P's this year were the worst ever at having shutdown innings after we scored. So, I'm bracing for Big Smooth to give up a crooked number here. I was an inning early. The RS just look like a bad BB team. Bad SP, no clutch hitting and no power. Our lineup today includes three guys who had an OPS-plus above 100. And two of those, Pedroia and Beni, were barely above. Bradley, Young and Marrero were all below 90.

This team is just a lot better than Boston.

This team is just a lot better than Boston. Yep. At this point, I just want this PS to be over for us. Cleveland vs. Houston will be epic, though.

I mean, this really shouldn't be a surprise against a tired Pomeranz who can't get a strike call.
Springer vs LHP all season: .301/.423/.549 Bregman vs LHP all season: .331/.404/.570 Altuve vs LHP all season: .353/.416/.561 Correa vs LHP all season: .391/.457/.609
The Astros were built to annihilate the Red Sox.

Won't be surprised if the Atros try a double-steal

Feel free and give the Sox a Angel Hernandez 4 inches off the plate call at any point Angel.

Left handed or not, anytime you replace Devers with Marrero to start a playoff game, you're not helping your team's chances of winning.

Incredible how his strikezone is perfect when we're pitching.

Smith looks horrible, no reason to let him face Reddick, got very lucky.
