The Sox are hanging by a thread at this point.

Ironic that David Price is now the pitcher all Red Sox fans want to have all the ball in a postseason game.

Yes, the Astros are playing better, they won more games this season.....whatever. What we are seeing here isn't within normal error bars for these teams, clearly.

Feel free and give the Sox a Angel Hernandez 4 inches off the plate call at any point Angel. You've made your point. Repeatedly. Please move on.

The Sox hitters have to chase everything inside. That strikeout inside to Vazquez was a product of the Angel Hernandez strikezone. Vazquez had to chase.

I'm not saying that you're inaccurate, I'm saying your incessant criticisms of Angel Hernandez are taking over the entire Gameday thread. No need to post after every single pitch call that you disagree with. Thats why I'm telling you to move on.

This is not a hill you should be battling on, Price got a lot of calls on borderline pitches. It's been wonky but fair, not the reason why they're losing. Frankly, the only reason they are losing is that the Astros are just a better team. No different umpire or different manager or different leadership (LMAO) would have made any difference.

Xander would make a cool video game character with that spin attack swing.

it is true. Good pitching can contain good hitting.

If, before the season had started, you would have told me that midway through the 5th inning of the ALDS, Price would be pitching with a pitch count of under 35, I would have been very excited about the outlook of the game...

I agree with this, but that doesn't automatically mean we should be losing these games. Baseball allows for inferior teams to win games, and we have a good team. Altuve has been a big difference. And we had chances early against Verlander and Kuechel and squandered, which has been a problem for this team. What could go wrong has gone wrong so far.

Dallas could easily go 7 innings at this rate. Got to get to him or get him out.

Hanley with the best at bat of the game. The Sox have a chance at least coming back on their bullpen, I think.

Find a first baseman that can hit in the off-season.
