Do any of these pitchers know what a shutdown inning is?

We're so spoiled with Mookie's defense that it's hard not to get mad when he doesn't make a great play.

This Astros lineup is relentless. They hit everything.

If he could get McCann to strike out, that would be nails.

That last pitch to McCann was nasty. Best pitch he's thrown today.

Porcello's getting there. Struggling with the (slippery) curveball but mixing pitches better than he has in a while.

Unbelievable. He gives up the cookie on the second out of the inning.

Seems to me like they think Astros are definitely stealing signs.

Man, he's LUCKY it's not 3-1 with that pitch location. Springer just gets under that a little it's GONE

This guy is giving the Red Sox what he gave them ALL year - first inning runs and no shutdown innings. I cant believe anyone is surprised and shame on Farrell for expecting anything different than who this guy proved he was for the entirety of 2017. If they get through two innings of Porcello, with Vazquez' lazy block and the umpire's terrible call on Moreland's check and they're only down one they should consider it a win. Get a new pitcher in there now and win the last seven innings...
If Altuve's first-inning rocket hadn't hit the mound its a major deficit right now...

Seems to me like they think Astros are definitely stealing signs. Then change them. They're treating every batter like there's a runner on 2nd now. I think that should be permanent.
