And now the send from Third and the awful calls against Morton looming even larger. That, and NOT scoring when they had bases loaded and NO outs. Bad calls or not, you have to score at least one run there.

This game will come down to Devers in the bottom of the lineup. He's going to have to go deep. JBJ is a walking strikeout and Vazquez will probably chase too many sliders outside of the zone. If that's the case I think we're more likely to see the Sox have pick-six run back for a touchdown than a miracle bailout. We already got that from Benintendi. I wanna see the field goal that clangs off, and through the uprights, full Boston style

Dude on first with one* out* too. Weren't there two outs? Either way, guy said he wanted to agree to disagree. And even after putting a runner on with the cleaning this time still got to give him the right to agree to disagree

Nobody can tell me JF didn't have a hand in Sale coming out in the 8th. He's been doing that crap all year.

I am going to chalk this up to Kimbrel not having pitched because the alternative is that he friggin can't handle it and i don't want to believe that. I mean, the alternative could just be that he had a bad outing. It happens even to the best of them. Not every outing needs to be a referendum on a guy's psychological capacities.

Was he lauded for great coaching decisions then? But - again - Price was still dealing. Sale was starting to lose it. And Reed (didn't we get him for clean 8ths?) and Kimbrel were ready and rested. No one is banging on Farrell as far as I can tell - we are in the game. There will be plenty of time of mgt decisions after the game - no matter who wins or loses.

I thought for sure the Sox were going to hit a grand slam in post season since they had zero during the year.

Mariano Rivera had a bad outing or 2 in the playoffs, because he was there a ton. I don't know, I think it is a fair question.

Either way. This is sad.

Just a get some baserunners here. Kimbrel will lock down the 9th when he enters with a clean slate. You were saying?

Okay, that was Kimbrel's fault. Season probably over. Thanks Craig.

Kimbrel simply not sharp when we needed him to be. Sad.
1 inning pitched, 38 pitches.
