One man truly is enough in basketball. When you're done when your victory lap, take a look at shooting percentages in this game. LeBron didn't win this game. Far from it. If the Celtics shot even remotely decent they win easily. I'm not taking a victory lap dude, it is what it is. The Celtics were stopped by Megatron. The moment was too big for a lot of these young players like Rozier and Brown. LeBron didn't choke and the Celtics young players did early in their careers except for Tatum.

Remember when we all thought Rozier didn't suck? Those were an awesome couple weeks... He doesn’t suck - he had a brutal game and he’s not nearly as good as Kyrie, but he’s a quality NBA player. He's obviously not a 0% 3-point shooter like he was tonight, but he's not nearly as good as he was for a couple games here and there. He's a decent backup and that's about it.

Dude when they played the replay in slowmo the commentators said nothing, I wish we could have seen their faces. It must have been like oh wait was that a good block. All hand, then maybe some ball.

Of course that other arm bent up into his chest isn’t exactly legal. But yes he got ball first

The 5 Celtics besides Horford and Tatum combined to shoot 23% from the field. The 5 apart from Tatum and Morris shot 11% from 3. Tatum and Morris were each 2 of 6, to show how ridiculously bad it was that they were the ones who needed to be excused form the "bad" shooters.

Really, their problem was that the moment was too big and they choked? That's what you're going to contribute to the conversation?

It speaks volumes to how much they overachieved that a team that by all accounts should have been out by the first round got me this heartbroken because they didn't make it to the NBA Finals.

The moment got too big in a game 7 of the conference finals. I'm perfectly okay with this too. Perfect learning experience for every one of these young players against one of the best EVER.

Those were good shots. They didn't go in, but they were good shots. I have to disagree there. The Morris one, yeah, maybe. But the Rozier one they should have moved the ball around a bit more instead of just launching it. Which is kind of how this whole game went after the 1st quarter.

Boston needs this guy back at full strength. Oh man. They're going to rock a Kyrie - Brown - Hayward - Tatum - Horford line-up. That team will be glorious.

Yeap, I would rather be wrong when it comes to all of this.
I'm NOT dancing around loving the fact that LeBron James won tonight. I would rather be 1 thousand times wrong than to be right about a gut feeling.
I didn't think these kids were ready yet, but they will be REALLY REALLY SOON.
THE CELTICS DYNASTY IS COMING WHETHER THE NBA IS WILLING TO ADMIT IT OR NOT OR IS WILLING TO ACCEPT IT OR NOT.
That folks, is what I truly believe. I just want to thank everyone for a great season of ups and downs and I want to think of the future.
The Celtics, I believe, is the best franchise in sports (highest winning percentage), and I believe it will continue until I'm dead 50 years from now.
Thank you to everyone. Looking forward to next year dominating the eastern conference. Truly. I think the Celtics are in the palms of the NBA and they FREAKING KNOW IT. They know LeBron won't last forever.
To Umass, Rjp, Jmie, swingingbunt, Texs31 (wherever you are god bless brother), WcP3, Don, VOR, Chris H., Telson, Coreno, and whoever I'm leaving out, (No offense), it's been a hell of a ride. I'm looking forward to BLEEDING GREEN no matter what from this point forward.
LeBron might have had a good laugh here, but this AIN'T OVER FOLKS. Tatum is coming, and he showed me all I needed and wanted to know tonight.
If I had to make my last prediction whether I got hit by a bus tonight or tomorrow, I would make a easy prediction and say that Tatum will be a champion of the Celtics before his career is done in a Green uniform.
Good luck to all, and truly, Go Green.

If I had to make one last remark of the the 2017/2018 Celtics, it'd be the that the Celtics should extend Tatum ASAP.
Umass was right about this from the beginning, fyi. So was Danny Ainge. So give credit where it's due. I was on the Fultz hype train, (like everyone else and they showed why I'm not a NBA gm and never should be one).
Just so hyped for next year. Get healthy Kyrie and Heyward. Let's go WIN A F-ING BANNER NO MATTER WHAT NEXT YEAR!!!! LEBRON JAMES OR NOT!!!!!

Great run by the Celts comes to an end much later than most expected. Not sure what to make of Kyrie not being on the bench cheering the boys on, hopefully nothing, probably nothing but still a head scratcher.
Can't wait til next year and to see what happens this offseason, with Danny you just never know.

This is where you're reminded of NBA CBA rules and have no clue and get it confused with the baseball CBA.

I'll give LeBron his credit, but what sucks is I wasn't wrong. That wasn't a LeBron was just too good game, I could have lived with that. This was a we just couldn't make a single wide open shot type game. Brown and Rozier just missed shots they made all playoffs. Shots that were the reason we were playing in game 7 of the ECF. Heck LeBron had 8 turnovers and did his best to help us win. They did everything else well but shooting in this game. If you told me we'd hold them to 87 points, win the rebounding battle and they'd have double the turnovers I'd bet a lot of money we'd win. Oh well.

Ball in Roziers hand and LeBron getting all hand. I mean, it was a foul just for the left arm into Rozier's chest. But the "block" that they kept raving about was just a hack. Anyone else that's what they would have been talking about, but for LeBron they pretend it was a clean and brilliant play.

If they called that LeBron would have had 5 fouls with almost 8 minutes to go in the game. Oh well, time to move on. I can't dwell anymore on this, last night was rough.
