Stick a fork in this game. Just zero hustle on the defensive end. Gutsy comeback (Shhhh. Don’t jinx the reverse jinx...)

Remember that guys like Larkin, Yabu and ojelye wouldn't even get off the bench if not for the injuries. Heck they might not even be on the bench. The fact they are in this is somewhat miraculous. When Heyward went down the season was over then when Kyrie went down the season was over.

Glad Terry decided to hit a shot nice to know a shitty game doesn’t get him down.

I think the Celtics will need to find a very good bigman in the next few years to do battle with Giannis and Embiid. Don't have to match them but at least keep them from dominating a series in the East.

They just need to build there team and the rest of the league can worry about matching up with us. Try and stop Kyrie, Jaylen, Hayward and Tatum with Horford being the great glue guy

Congrats to the refs for evening this series. Baffling no-call in transition on Jaylen’s drive.

It is against them that the C's won't be able to afford Embiid dominating a series. Yes they should be the best with a healthy GH and Kyrie but the Sixers could end up being right there.

My point was, I don’t make moves to match up. Yes Embiid will be tough but so will Kyrie and 3 beastly wings. How’s Philly match up with us?

Stayed all day with my mom in the hospital (she's fine) and missed the game, so I need you guys to tell me: did Al do the "little things" well? Because lord help us if he ever does the big things when the team needs him to nut up.

My God the Cavs are a MESS when it comes to fundamentals. The team loses itself on every single possession defensively, they can't rotate for sh*t and yet they switch everything, they don't box out anyone, guys guard everyone way too softly. I know it's probably unfair to give Lue too much stuff because he had some health issues this year, but the coaching staff really mailed this one in.
They may win the series on determination, grit, talent, lebronness, or anything. But this effort is embarrassing.

Few things stand out to me why is Yabu playing? Why didn't Baynes play more? He was very effective and you lost your offensive rebounding edge without him. During the huge 3rd to get back in the game they had Rozier play full court on the PG. It killed the Bucks, yet you never went back to that in the 4th. You need more of that, a lot more. Our D really misses Smart because Larkin can get abused on that end.
I get Morris is like Rozier where he can suck and then make 5 shots in a row. I just question him taking the last shot when Brown and Tatum were on fire. He got a good shot, so it's not horrible, just surprising.

Morris is one of these guys who thinks he’s hot **** and will take tough shots in clutch moments. That’s helpful when it props up a second unit that lacks shot creators. Not ideal in a big playoff game, though.

REALLY looking forward to next year. Lineups with Kyrie-JB-Hay-Tatum-Horford will be regularly unstoppable. No idea if they will start that way but they should finish games like that. This team will look a lot better with Brown/Morris/Terry as 6/7/8 men rather than top 4 offensive options.
I'm also looking forward to the draft lottery; if the Lakers aren't there at 10, it will have a HUGE impact on the east for the next 5 years minimum, since a good team in Boston or Philly will be getting an insane reinforcements. Low probability but would certainly make an exciting hour.

Not ideal in a big playoff game, though. Yep he takes way too many stupid shots. While I like Morris and he's a big reason why the Celtics had a good season despite everything, I really wouldn't mind if Danny managed to sell high on him somehow.

I would have to watch it again to see what you mean. It sure seemed like that was a play set up for him. They cleared the whole side out for him to work.

NBA announces the blatant hack on Jaylen Brown in the open court should have been a foul.
I know improving player-official relations is a priority, and I do think the amount of complaining by players has gotten out of hand. But part of improving those relations should include the refs getting the simple calls correct down the stretch, even if it won’t be popular with the home crowds.
(In the interest of fairness, Tatum got away with such a blatant Jersey grab that I flat out laughed. I understand missing calls in traffic, but there’s no excuse for missing blatant calls in the open court.)
