I started with that generic countdown video but it can be singular plays that stood out through time and leave a short note long note whatever you feel I read and hear that Jackie Bradley Kevin Pillar Mike Trout Tom Brady Aaron Rodgers Johnny Unitas Brad Marchand Patrice Bergeron and a few others have made some great plays so if you have a favorite player that's made put it here and give a story or comment

Reminder; this was an All Star Game, the 12th inning, the Cubs Jim Hickman hit a single to centerfield, Rose who on 2nd base ran towards the 3rd base coach Leo Durocher waved him home Rose and Fosse collided . Two days after the All Star Game caught 9 innings X-rays had come back negitive. As it turned later Fosse had suffered a fractured, separated shoulder.

7/24/83 Brett came unhinged.The Royals protested and won . The game was restarted on August 18 with the Royals winning 5-4.

These coaches are pretty PO'd. But they're not even close to the University of Texas Baseball coach Augie Garrido . I could not find a video that he didn't say F^%$ or was bleeped out so I could post it here . He could fill a top 10 all by himself. He's on You Tube check it out.

Phil Esposito couldn't complete a phrase, let alons a sentence without using the F word. It was so bad that they wouldn't let him do radio or TV interviews after games. The stick in the Orr video is in my sister and bro in law's trophy case. I met most of the Bruins of that era several times at their house. Don Awrey's wife was a Waltham girl and my sister's best friend in high school. ADD: It was purely coincidental but my entire immediate family growing up (6 of us) met or knew an inordinate amount of famous or rich or powerful people. It's particularly odd because we grew as blue collar. |
