Brady Singer is he ranked player most draft lists . Singer is a 6'5" 210lb Junior at Florida University. The Toronto Blue Jays picked him in the 2nd round of the 2015 draft. Last year he posted 9-5 record in 20 starts 3 complete games 126IP 23BB 129K'S 3.21ERA.

The UConn Huskies lost their opening game of the season 7-3 to Kennesaw State Owls. Despite having their ace LHP Tim Cate who considered by most rankings to be a 1st round draft choice. Cate pitched 5.2 innings giving up 5 runs 4 of them earned while walking 2 and striking out 7 batters. The Owls were lead by Jaylen Smith Jake Franklin and Terence Norman who each hit homers. Boston College won their 1st game of season by beating the Santa Clara Bronos 5-1. The Eagles were led by Jake Polamaki who went 3 for 5 hitting a homer and knocked in 3 runs .Jacob Stevens pitched 5 scoreless innings scattering 4 hits and striking out 7 and gaining the win. Here are are yesterday's scores February 23, 2018. Yesterday was not a good day for local New England teams I'll start off with good news and the teams that placed wins. An announcement was made back in January that there will be 2 NCAA baseball games played at Fenway Park on April 20th and 21st.
The April 20th game will be played at 6pm and will see Army against Navy .Sales from the game will benefit the home base program.
On April 21st at 3pm Boston College will face the Florida State Seminoles the proceeds from this game will benefit the Pete Frates home health initiative which is a pilot program of the ALS Association in honor of former Eagles Captain Pete Frates.
