I noticed Okimey hasn’t played yet is he hurt? I haven’t seen anything. I’m expecting him to bust out this season.

Yes, he is on the DL with a hamstring injury.

jrrusso, it says that on the front page here. We obviously don't mind people asking questions, but you can probably get the answer quicker most times if you just try and look - we've got a lot of info on the rest of the website.

I just want everyone to know that if Mata resumes his prior form from last year (eg 6IP 5K/1BB/1ER) I'm going to dive headfirst on the bandwagon... with what's going on with Groome and Chavis, still a legit shot he's #1 at the end of the year (though that may not be a good thing.)

This would be his first time in Pawtucket, but not his first in AAA obviously.

This would be his first time in Pawtucket, but not his first in AAA obviously. Just goes to show you, you can have a wRC+ of -60, but as long as you went to the same college as this internet poster, the sky is the limit.

Makes sense for while Lin is up. Portland had four corner infield types in Olt, Josh Tobias (who has apparently moved to 3B full-time), Jordan Betts, and Conrad Gregor.
EDIT: If you really want to read into it, given the lack of a countermove yet, you can wonder if this means Ockimey is close to being healthy too. But given the fact they had 4 guys for 2 spots and the occasional DH start, I don't think that's necessarily the case.

This will be Berroa’s first taste of A-ball. He gets the start in center field tonight.

Wild Mata so far tonight. 3BB's, 4H, and 2K's through 4 innings tonight, but no runs. A runner thrown out at home in the 4th. 2 of the 3 hits in the 4th were to infielders. Not watching, so I can't say too much about it, but seems like weak contact against Mata.
