Going to the Salem game tonight. Believe it's R Raudes on the bump. Will let you guys know if he's missing barrels, velo, CB depth, ect. Great weather here. Sitting right behind the 3B on deck circle.

Through 3 innings, Jalen Christopher Beeks is continuing his slaughtering of AAA hitters. Dude's averaging 2 K per inning (3 starts)!!! lmao Acuna? Number 1 hitting prospect in baseball? Jammed him for a popup then K'd him the second time! He's pimpin' ADD: I jinxed him! He struck out just one batter in the 4th ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

Jalen BeeKKKKKKKs so far this season: 14 IP, 5 BB, 26 K, 0 HRA Not too shabby pitching depth and could be top notch relief reinforcement down the line with his missing bats ability.

Roniel Raudes ..6 IP. 1 ER. 86 pitches...7(?)K's....sat @ 94 first 4 innings. Was at 92 by the sixth. He had some loud outs though. Good CB (78 mph)and change up(82 mph)Jordan Weems came in 7th and 8th and was at 96, 3 or 4 K's. Santiago Espinal had 3 hits (1 HR). Dalbec had a rough night. 1 gidp, couple K's. 1 FO. Salem was up 3-1 when I left (bottom of 8th).

Beeks: 6IP, 2H, 0ER, 2BB, 10K.
That K% is really interesting especially after the year he had last year...

If so I’d figure he’s more 90-92, but if his command continues to be plus, and he refines his secondaries, he’s got back-end starter potential at a pretty young age. He might reach AA at 20.

I'm still editing Chaz's writeups, but he had Raudes 90-92 in ST. Was a welcome uptick.

Only picking nuts here but in the current spirit of non offending trigger words, perhaps you should either add or subtract one K from BeeKKKs. Winkee thingee.

He’s still really young, so maybe there’s a chance he sits league-avg. He’s short, so I hope he’s got adequate extension or spin. But at least the velo gives him a little more wiggle room.

Yea, it was the stadium gun. There were a lot of swing and miss/foul balls the other way/sawed off bats, ect. So that kind of tells me he had some good velo. Winston-Salem is a good hitting team so that was a good test for him.

I love when people here can give first-person recaps, it really helps bring the players to life. I’ll have to hit up Pawtucket, Portland, and Lowell this summer.
