Beeks so far: 2 IP,4 K He's so in the zone right now that he may win the Cy Young while pitching in AAA! Ronald Acuna was happy to be promoted so he can't never face Jalen Christopher Beeks never again. Update: He strikes out the side in the 3rd inning! Dude's on a mission!

Jalen Beeks through 5 IP with a no-hitter. One walk breaking up the perfect game with 10 more strikeouts. Only at 71 pitches too.

2 infield singles and a bloop single to drive one run against Beeks and Martin let one inherited runner score on wild pitch and a passed ball. Final line: 5.2 IP, 1 BB, 11 K and 3 singles and 2 ER. He's been amazing!

I like that the trouble in the 5th for Beeks wasnt "he got hit hard 3rd time through lineup" and was more "bad luck/weak contact/fielding/bullpen".
As discussed on latest SP podcast.. he's missing a *lot* of bats.

In four starts, Beeks lowest K/9 is 15. Is that good?

Who do you think you are? Dave O' Brien? ?? He's always rubbing it in our faces that he'll talk about no-hitters and then practically gloats about it when he jinxes a Red Sox pitcher. Just giving you a hard time.

Chatham's back and got two of Greenville's 4 hits. Greenville is 4-19. That team needs help. It is not good for player development to have a team do that poorly.

Jalen Beeks, at worst, is our number 8 prospect.

Jalen Beeks, at worst, is our number 8 prospect. Dude's is striking out 45.1% of the batters he's facing! That's 2017 Kimbrel level but starting! Unreal!
