wait...isn't this convenient. Do the Yankess or MLB get that call if it continues? And if it is MLB, someone tap Joe Torre's lines to make sure he isn't in the decision making process. Go figure. Anyone know how long rain is in the forecast?

Just noticed they sat JBJ for the second game. Cora says he found a flaw in his mechanics, so hoping they'll work on that and he'll heat up. I'm still confident that he can come back.

Based on the weather radar I'm thinking about a 40-minute delay. Would that be short enough to bring Rodriguez back out?

Based on the weather radar I'm thinking about a 40-minute delay. Would that be short enough to bring Rodriguez back out? During one rain-delay game I was watching this year, it was either Smoltz or Darling said around 45 minutes would be the cut-off for bringing someone back out.

E Rod tonight.....hello agita. I'm hoping for the game of Eduardo's career tonight. Too bad there was a rain delay because I came close to seeing it.

Price can’t put the video game controller down. This guy can’t leave Boston soon enough, what a bum. C'mon man! Price is our #3 guy....We don't have a replacement. You don't know video playing (done by many Sox players and many players on other teams)....is a factor...but he won't do it anymore....He will make his next start.....nuff said. As many comments about I pointed about with Price and the video game crap, I don't care what he does outside of work as long as it doesn't affect the workplace. I love the ps4 myself.

Freaking rain delay saved the Yankees. Sabathia was pitching like junk and they were better off pulling him anyways. I hope Eduardo comes back out.

ERod up to 97. He's right on the verge of becoming absolutely dominant. We really need to see consistency before we even begin to have that discussion, but yes, it helps tremendously. I think he's a solid number 4 who can be a mid rotation type. It's the knee I'm worried about. If he's healthy by August I'm buying in because he's never done that before.

There has to come a point in time where Cora has to at least think about Swihart catching with Vazquez and Leon hitting this badly.

They are making Holder look like Mariano RiverA. Speaking of Holder. Back in the day where Democrats could actually win elections there might have been a good ticket with Anthony Weiner and Eric Holder. I can just see the signs now
Elect Weiner / Holder

Why Barnes? A walk - you gotta be kidding.

Barnes comes in and immediately walks a batter. Come on Barnes, I actually want to believe in you but you need to stop putting the first man on base, especially via the walk.

Why is E-Rod out and if he should be then why isn't Velazquez in?
Hope this game doesn't suddenly get close.

Eduardo looked good for the 1 inning after the delay, but I was good, given that situation, with not letting him face Judge and Stanton a third time.

Pedro....where were you brother? Don't answer that. Glad to see you back at the helm I was watching. Got a little distracted, would have been here the whole time if I wasn't. Going back to work tomorrow after 6 and a half weeks of work off after a broken ankle. So I might be posting less, but I'll be tuned in. Glad to have you here brother.

Please get through this Hembree.
Edit- I'm sorry, but Hembree is a problem child in the bullpen right now.

This should be the last pitch that he throws for this team. How many times does he have to explode like this?

How many times are we going to walk the #9 batter. No wonder the bullpen can’t succeed
