Hopefully the Sox score sometime soon. The Sox bullpen is tired from all that work in the Yankee series.

Hanley runs right through the only stop sign Carlos Febles has used all season. Out easily at home. Jeez. Not to mention he wasn't running very hard around second base because he must have thought it was gone and then again hesitated halfway to the plate. Inexcusable with two out. Exactly. I noticed that Hanley wasn't running hard at the crack of the bat, when i saw the replay. Inexcusable is right.

And now a completely new strike zone for the 9th inning.

at the risk of sounding naive, if they were stealing signs, how do they do it? I don't understand. First, how can you see what Leon is putting down? and then how can the batter get that info in between the given sign and the pitch? It has to be coming from somewhere in centerfield, no ? they look totally guilty and it is impossible for MLB not to notice and investigate. Toronto has had a sketchy reputation when at home for stealing signs for a long while now. Who knows how they do it to be honest. John Farrell.

the A's are having the same meltdown against the Yankees that everyone else has had during their streak They haven't blown the lead yet, unlike what the Sox did. Don't put the O'Brien jinx on them.

On the bright side, after replacing Axford after 10 pitches, Oh after 13, Tepera after 12, and Clippard having a 12 pitch head start over anyone in our bullpen, Toronto shouldn't have much left. Quantity or quality. Our lineup might make them look good though.

Don't see 15/0 K/BB ratios very often. Sale is okay at this.

The Sox don't have one freaking hit against the Toronto bullpen tonight.

Barnes comes in - walks the first man. We are in groundhog day territory.

If Youk was the Greek God of Walks, is Barnes the Christian Devil of that same variety?

Don't bother swinging your bats Toronto. Barnes will walk you home 4 straight.

Barnes comes in - walks the first man. We are in groundhog day territory. And the second man and no one is warming in the pen.

Barnes - useless in high leverage situations. Hembree - ditto.
Carson Smith - where are you? Hector Velazquez - hello?
If I were starters pitching gems that are being ruined by this crappy pen - I hope Sale, Erod, Porcello don't buy the pen members any dinners!

It's mind boggling how Cora refuses to use Velazquez who has actually pitched well. This isn't going to end well.

How is it that Barnes is on the 25-man roster and Poyner isn't?

Barnes fastball command is pretty poor. I remembered that being a good pitch over the last few years.

Better just get used to it. Barnes isn't going anywhere this year.

Barnes and Kelly - two heart attacks to watch regularly. Kimbrel - nearly as much of one.
Oh to have a few no drama pen arms
