Also looks like de Jesus will make his debut in Salem tonight.
Kemp also coming off the DL should play.

So Portland has played 42 games so far. Now I’m not familiar with the way that minor league suspensions work in combination with his injury, but does that mean that Chavis is halfway done with his suspension?

Deiner Lopez and Oscar Hernandez are really close to being activated as they were only on 50 game suspensions.

Phenomenal outing by Kutter Crawford. What do we have here?

6 scoreless innings from Kutter Crawford. 4 hits, one walk, and nine strikeouts. Two of the hits off of him were killed off with what seems to be a good pickoff move. Every single one of the strikeouts was swinging. Crawford has been very, very impressive so far. Salem’s rotation is loaded, if underperforming, but I wonder if and when Crawford gets the call.

Phenomenal outing by Kutter Crawford. What do we have here? Usually I'm not going to get too crazy about a college arm at Low-A, but Crawford isn't like a big program guy or anything. He played one year at FGCU and two years at "Indian River State" which I'd never even heard of until I looked it up right now. Pounding the zone, too - 61/83 pitches for strikes Given the arms at Salem and the lack of experience, I don't see a lot of reason to rush him at this point - having him get some success at Greenville is awesome. They organization was a little hyper aggressive with their placements out of spring training in my opinion, so I'd be fine with a little restraint here.

Marino Campana hit his seventh home run of the year this morning, second in the system behind Bobby Dalbec. If I remember correctly, he impressed in spring training this year. He has some nice power. The hit tool still needs development and he’s striking out at a decent clip (while walking almost never). Lack of defense and speed also lowers his ceiling, but the raw power he has is intriguing. Still only 20, so there’s plenty of time for him to develop.

Kent doing very well, just seems to struggle after throwing a few innings. I think the relief role he was in at the beginning of the year is best. He could be a quality 2 or 3 inning reliever in the upper minors, and may get to the majors if he does well.

Phenomenal outing by Kutter Crawford. What do we have here? Asked this question the other day and there’s a thread. Love to see hm live. If someone does, could we get a scouting report of what you do see?

Didn’t see a scouting report anywhere that went in depth.

Pretty sure Austin Glorius went there for 2 years as well before his 1 year stint at Valdosta. If I’m not mistaken they were teammates for a year

Wow, looks like Glorius did go there also. Doesn't look like they overlapped as players - Crawford started there in the 2015 season, when Glorius was at Valdosta, and it doesn't look like Crawford redshirted or anything. Still pretty crazy. Looks like it's been a stop for several pros: Johnny Venters, Emil Brown, Angel Pagan, Luke Scott (though I won't hold that against them).
