Some bats are heating up across the system...
Salem lost today but the offense had 12 hits:
Santiago Espinal: 3/5, 2R, 2B(9), BA up to .309 Brett Netzer: 3/5, 2B(11), BA up to .295 C.J. Chatham: 3/5, 1R, 2B(4), 3RBI, BA up to .345

Strong relief outing for Lakins today as well. Struck out the side in his lone inning of work, I think the move to pen full time is the best thing for him. Jordan Weems had a great inning as well with a couple strikeouts. He's been a lot of fun to root for since converting from being a catcher.
Tate Matheny had a great day too going 4-4 with a couple of doubles. .287/.376/.381 on the year thus far, not much power but playing CF and handling his own makes him interesting in a system without many name outfield prospects.
