No body is warming. Hembree will start that 7th inning. I'm glad. I would not want a dead man pitching the 7th.

Aaron Judge HBP in the wrist in the KC game. He was immediately taken to the hospital for a MRI.

Hembree once again showing he’s great in cleaning up a mess but you might not want to give him a clean inning to work off of.

I would be a happier person if we didn't have Hembree on our staff. Does he have any command at all over where the ball is going to go when it leaves his hand?

Yeah, I'm ok with the double play there. It could have been a lot worse than giving up 1 run with the corners and nobody out. I'd be mad at Hembree for giving up the initial baserunners, but not be mad about the double play. Sox still have the advantage.

I root for Heater. He can be good and it seems he has the worst luck, but I will never be able to fully trust him on the mound.

Now I hope that Barnes can get the out and do the 8th instead of faulting like Hembree did when going out for the extra inning.

Cora does have way too much faith in Hembree lately. Hopefully tonight changes that a little bit at least.
Two LHB lead off the inning and Hembree has struggled against them his whole career. I was hoping to see Brasier, but it didn't happen.

Something is seriously wrong with Barnes' curveball. This is not good.

Not exactly what I wanted to see... and now add Barnes inning to this.
Alex Speier @alexspeier Hembree broke Adrianza's bat for the 4-6-3 DP, but the tying run scores. Red Sox relievers have now allowed 11 runs in 16 innings (6.18 ERA) since the All-Star break.

Well, we have the bullpen blues...yikes. Kelly unreliable, Hembree unreliable - Barnes now catching it.

it is frustrating......we just seem to have the same greatness level with our bullpen guys. They can get it done, but they can't dominate for long periods.

The Sox have bullpen issues. And offense issues. Normally I'd be ok with the Sox giving up 2 runs in 8 innings. That'd probably win us 8-9 out of 10 games.

Something is seriously wrong with Barnes' curveball. This is not good. It’s just Barnes being Barnes in big spots. Close games in the 8th inning he’s really just not that good and hasn’t been, but don’t tell his season averages that. I don’t understand how anyone is comfortable with him as your primary set up guy in October.
