Almost Sept and this team still making stupid outs on the bases. You have to admit, people are saying this 10 times less lately. Truth. Still, why take the bat from JD’s hands in that situation?

Velasquez just can't throw a strike this inning.

Single would score him if he was safe, otherwise JDM starts off the next inning without 2 strikes on him. I think he pulled something or tweaked a knee while running there. He normally slides head first and probably beats it with a half decent slide.

Velasquez is tough. Going to be tough to score tonight with no Betts. He does not look sharp in the third.

Yankees are down 3-1 in the bottom of the third after three. Go Tampa.

I was just saying that Xander makes JDM get more pitches to hit and now he's walked twice.

Velasquez is tough. Going to be tough to score tonight with no Betts. He does not look sharp in the third. A strange thing to see anymore. Third game in a row where both starters get the ball throw the ball (unit this inning). ADD: Velazquez has slowed the pace considerably now that he's lost it.

I’d like to knock this guy out right now. Mostly cause he is a freaking human rain delay out there right now.

Let’s not waste this bases loaded opportunity with this stiff on the mound.

I wanted more also, but that crooked number will suffice.

So Gabe Kapler brings in a RHP to face JBJ and Devers with the bases loaded and now a LHP is warming in the pen.

Odubal Herrera is a terrible baseball player. Maybe it's the SSS that I've seen him play, but he's terrible at knowing where the ball is going on defense, he's impatient at the plate, not a lot of power. I would hate watching this guy play. This guy reminds of Julio Lugo, if Lugo played CF.

Just thought it was a bit funny.

97-100 mph fastball, 95 mph cutter and 85 mph split finger. Probably my absolute favorite mix of pitches if I could build a pitcher in franchise mode.

Just thought it was a bit funny. That last pitcher for the Phillies had a good split and looked like he could be really tough on LHB, not looking up any stats.

My sarcasm is solely because of my bias toward the guy whose team is 51 games over 500. I love Kevin Millar too. Hell, nobody that wore a Sox uniform in 2004 could ever buy a beer at any bar is was in.

They're both going to end up being the best managers in the majors. Millar is pretty awesome too. Would love if he were a bench coach if his ego hasn't grown too big.
