Pomeranz touching 94 mph. Awesome.

Acuna is 20 years old and has a .933 OPS. Geeze. That's incredible. He might be one of the only players I'd consider trading Mookie 1 for 1 because of the difference in control. (of course I wouldn't, but I think it's close to fair)

Moreland let a bunt role foul and 3 pitches later Incierte hits a double.
Ouch. Take the out.

Why can't they let the tomohawk chop die? It's the most annoying thing in a baseball park other than the drum in Oakland.
I'm close to changing the order of those two things since I'm listening on headphones.

Lyons just said Pomeranz only has 1 fastball over 90. I just counted 9 of them.
Actually, he only has 1 under 90 that was 89.9.

I would still not spend a playoff roster spot on Pomeranz. I'd rather have Johnson.

So Pomeranz isn't helping his playoff consideration here regardless of his velocity jump recently.

I'd really be ok with Pomeranz not being on the post-season roster. The Red Sox have about 10 better bullpen choices.

What a disappointment. I thought Pomeranz was turning a corner, instead he does that.

I seriously would somehow figure out how to contact the owners of these teams and tell them that I would never buy season tickets because of these horrible traditions if I were a fan of any of those teams. I've never seen so many not hard hits as the Red Sox have given up lately.

We have been so good in Venezuela too bad we missed him.

I really hope this outing keeps Pomeranz off of the playoff roster. His arm is shot, I'm afraid.

No one has to do anything but sit on fastballs. No cutters, either. I don't really get why he pretty much stopped throwing it, when it was credited as the most important factor in his breakout in Oakland. Especially since pitchers who lose velocity often turn to a cutter with great success (Sabathia, etc). Then again, he hardly has the command that Sabathia has, so maybe the cutter isn't of much value if he can't even spot his 4 seam.

Terrible call on Benny and the announcers say nothing as they are too busy telling stories, how about paying attention to the game.

Anyone know how Anderson Espinoza's rehab is going? Asking for a friend. Last report was that he's expected to be at instructs, so we'll be able to be furious about this trade again soon enough!

Pomeranz has done nothing for us all year, lost multiple games to the Orioles... he can't even eat innings anymore.
