If you set up a game in 2 weeks to allow for some practice time, who would win?
The New York Knicks vs. All Retirement Team
Duke vs. All Retirement Team
All Retirement Team (as they would be if they suited up out of retirement right now, not when they played) PG: Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Allen Iverson SG: Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller SF: Michael Jordan, Paul Pierce PF: Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett C: Shaq, Alonzo Mourning

I would take the all retirement team but it would be interesting. Have to find good retired guys in good to great shape.

Knicks by a mile. Those guys were great, but they are old.
I'm torn on Duke. It could go either way because they lack depth and experience. I'd still pick Duke though as Williamson is still likely the best player on the floor.
Those old guys would need a lot more than a few weeks to get in shape and play as a team. In the end they are just old and no longer even good athletes by NBA standards. MJ is 56 years old!

I can't imagine Shaq trying to stop Zion at their ages. Would be fun to see an exhibition, but I doubt the old guys would want to get hurt.
Someone like Allen Iverson would probably be useless without his speed. He wasn't a great shooter. But I bet Larry Bird could still hit shots. His jump shot was about 2 inches off the ground.

Imagine the 3-point game from R. Allen/Miller/Nash in today's shoot-or-die environment. I bet they could still rain the buckets.

Knicks and Duke is the close possibility and honestly I'd take the Knicks. NBA talent is just so superior to college talent.
