Hi guys, I really like the new scouting scale. It just makes things a little clearer.
To push the envelop further, is there a chance that individual tools/pitches could be broken down if the player has been scouted well enough by the staff? It would be nice to know what Alex Wilson's (for example) pitches rate at according to your eyes.
All too often we fall into thinking the Sox prospects tools are too highly considered or we listen too closely to a report from some analyst that claims so-and-so's fastball is a 50 when we all thought it was a 65.

Raft - we have talked about this. It would be a lot of work to do across the board, or even for the top 20-40, but we're talking about different ideas.

Across the board, no! That would be a lot of work. I was thinking more like, the top prospects that get enough views in a season to warrant grading tools. For example, next season Bogaerts will be in Portland and likely get 15-25 chances to scout. Trying the same for Owens in Salem isn't feasible.
