So the Salem scheduling is interesting. They were originally schedule to play a split DH, first game at 11:05am and game 2 at 6:05pm. The with the suspended game from yesterday, that got moved to 11:05am with the regularly scheduled game to follow 30 mins afterwards. The postponed game got postponed again. I guess an old-fashion triple header is too much to ask for.

Wouldn't surprise me if Aberdeen is unplayable. We got crushed with flooding in this area this morning.

D’Alessandro is too good for the GCL His HR was hit off of J.J. Goss, 36th overall pick in this year's draft

Is this guy relatively new to the beat? His writeups were great, and not just because they were pretty favorable to the prospects. Looking forward to seeing more of his work later on.

Very optimistic on Aldo, but seemed to be pretty fair on Jimenez/Flores. Good write-up to read and get a little more information on what we have in Lowell.

Early returns on last year's draft are quite astounding, despite what Tony Mazz deemed "unimpressive" on the "baseball reporters" a couple of weeks back. I couldn't help but laugh at that.

One that gets overlooked from last year because he was a senior sign is Logan Browning who's having a bang up year. The run he gave up Sunday in a 3 inning save was his first over his lasr 10 appearances. All of his stats are dominant numbers.

I believe from his twitter header that he was a Brewers scout who decided to go independent. Good stuff though, the dream on a 60/60 hit/power comment for Joe Davis surprised me.

Mathew Lugo and Bramdon Perez also have HRs but not off Goss I like lugo’s swing, clean crisp and balanced. If he could ever put it all together, get stronger and have an actual game plan when he goes up to bat, we could have an above average major leaguer in 4 or 5 years.

Draft order or not, this was our top pick. Realistically though, there's not a whole lot of difference in quality in our top 4.

I think Zeferjahn is a bit of a step behind the other three, but agree that it's basically those four, then everyone else. FWIW, I did like Groshans at the plate on Sunday. Tough to read too much into a one-game look, but he looked like you'd hope a college Day 2 guy would look.

Any way you can get some video while you're there? I'm pretty anxious to get a look at him. No worries if you can't, thanks for the report either way.
