Sad to announce that Senior Web Editor Matt Picard mattpicard is stepping away from SoxProspects at the end of 2019 in order to focus on his professional career. He has provided us with 7 years of devoted service updating the main site, including the rosters pages, transaction pages, rankings pages, and player pages. We are really going to miss his contributions!

Tough shoes to fill. Matt was always quick & efficient getting all the transactions/updates/changes onto SoxProspects.com
Best of luck Matt!

Most of what Matt did happened behind the scenes, but trust me, dude was indispensable. He was also a great add on the Spring Training trip a couple times. He'll be missed!

Thanks everyone! SoxProspects is so engrained in me at this point that I'll still be following along, and perhaps popping up on the board here and there.

It's the digital age and forums like this one are absolutely dependent on expertise such as yours. Thank you for all of the hard work that helped make the site as timely af it is.
