Id run with a dalbec/Kiké split. You give Kiké an everyday role in the lineup with Duran taking the OF reps away. Who plays second with Kiké on first and Arroyo on the IL? Who gets added to the roster, which was the original question? Yikes, I honestly didnt even know he was on the IL. In that case id be trading right now for 1b. Jeez, the start of the second half isn't going good.

I didn't mind the loss last night. The Sox got screwed. And at least they faced a really good pitcher.
Tonight they embarrassed themselves against the worst hitting Yankee lineup I've seen since 1990. They faced a mediocre pitcher to be charitable.
They really could have put the Yankees away this series when they were at their most vulnerable. Instead they breathed life into them. I hope the Yankees make a stupid trade out of desperation. I'm guessing they trade for Marte and perhaps Rizzo.
Meanwhile the Sox wasted Whitlock and everybody in the division that matters gained ground on them.

I see your point, but I think last night's clusterf&#k of a game got into their heads, leading to tonight's flop.

Good to see the Sox took the abuse by so-called fans and the umpires last night and used it as a weapon against the MFYs tonight.
Oh wait…

Sadly, I think Workman is toast. Was a nice try to salvage his career, but it's time to part ways.

We have now entered the endless pain part of tonight's game. Yikes.

At this point I'm under the assumption that the Sox were paid handsomely under the table to play like the Washington Generals while Prince Manfred watches ESPN and drinks his juice box before bed.

No loss is a good loss and they all count as one loss at the end of the day, but..... this loss feels like 2 losses. Yesterday as well. Both bad losses

Chavis pinch hits for Xander...lets hope its just getting X out of a bad game and not an aggravation of his injury

Making Chapman continue to feel like shit about himself would be a nice silver lining.
Score a run

The black holes on this team - at the bottom of the pen, and the K masters (Dalbec and Chavis), are being exposed. There are holes in the dam that need to be filled.
