Seabold getting another rehab start today in the FCL.
Also don’t know if it’s something to watch but it seems like Blaze Jordan hasn’t been playing much lately. I haven’t looked to see if it’s just scheduled off days for the team, but Jordan has played once in the last five days after playing four of the previous five.

It looks like yesterday was the first game Jordan didn't start since 7/1. The FCL team only played once from the 11th to 14th (two scheduled off days and one rainout), so maybe it looks more sparse because of that.

Better way to judge these things is to go to the lineup page on the stats here on the site. Seeing games instead of days missed will give you a better idea of what's up.

DSL instrasquad game today Has this ever happened officially? Like I'm sure they scrimmage but I don't think they've ever had an official game.

Looks like its a quirk in the DSL schedule this year where all of the orgs with two DSL teams are doing intra-squad games on Saturdays. Also, looks like the Red Sox are letting most of their bench players play in this game. No Bleis again - clearly he must be injured.

Karon Simas off to en encouraging start. Not sure I've ever seen a 6'6 2B, but I need it.

The search function doesn't look at anything since June 23rd for me so I can't see it it's been reported, but Sox released Luke Bandy per transactions

Juan Daniel Encarnacion is off to a good start. “Technically” came on in relief today and pitched 5 innings letting up 2 hits, an unearned run, and struck out six without walking anyone. On the year he’s 13.0 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 14 K. 0.69 ERA, .133 BAA, and 0.63 WHIP.

Might give it until Monday to confirm that the DSL Red team is also using the four-man rotation Blue seems to be. I did update the team rosters page with the few guys left to debut this year. Makes sense if they're going to have two off days every week to only have four starters. Karon Simas off to en encouraging start. Not sure I've ever seen a 6'6 2B, but I need it. We have him at 6-0. I'm going to guess that's an error on MiLB.com. Wound up with 2. Bryan Gonzo doing Bryan Gonzo things. The search function doesn't look at anything since June 23rd for me so I can't see it it's been reported, but Sox released Luke Bandy per transactions Interesting - that definitely got added after-the-fact. Explains the Maita call-up for depth, as they otherwise seemed fine out there.

Antoni Flores and Angie Maita are making their Salem debuts tonight. Flores is batting seventh and playing 3B. Maita is hitting ninth and playing CF. Couple other interesting things from the Salem lineup. Nick Northcut is playing 1B and Nick Yorke is back at DH tonight, putting Jake Mackenzie at 2B instead of Flores.
This is Northcuts first career start at 1B and Flores’s first career appearance at 3B.

MLB game start delayed. Worcester suspended. Greenville postponed. Salem currently in a rain delay.
But at least we have Portland!

Bello gave up a leadoff HR to his first batter of the game, but has settled down nicely.

My god, is Bello the new pre-trade Anderson Epsinoza? Bello had a great 4 innings. Got into trouble in the 5th and wound up with a deceptively lousy line. He did strike out two for a total of nine in 4.2 innings but left with two outs, two on and the reliever gave up a double to bring in the two runners. His line is not pretty but the back story is more encouraging. Nine out of eleven outs on Ks is OK with me.

What is most important is what they do before that last inning.
It's the main reason why relying on stats without that specific context in mind is foolish. A lot of the stamina comes from simply getting older.
It's also why I just cannot figure out how Dwight Gooden pitched 494.2 innings just in MLB at age 19 and 20.

According to their pitch tracker, Rio Gomez went 3-0 to a guy on three straight strikes before he gave up the bases clearing double.
