Renfroe is the kind of guy who, if you catch him on the right day, looks like he could be the best player in baseball. Just tools popping all over the place, including plus-plus raw power. But a reminder that strikeouts and walks really matter--they're the difference between his current rich man's platoon role and a potential All-Star.

Amazing - 7th inning, pitch 85 is a quick pitch at 99 mph. More evidence there is good life after Tommy John surgery.
Edited - quick pitch 100 mph for pitch 92!
Ottavino warming up sounds like a bit of a nightmare right now. Would rather it was Whitlock or Sawamura.

This Rangers team is not exactly the ‘31 Yankees, but still a nice start from Eovaldi so far. Need to get him a few more runs. '31 Yankees? What did they win? The Philly A's won the pennant that year and lost the Series to the Cardinals. |

PHing Duran for Dalbec there is playing not to lose IMO. I don't think that was a great situation for Duran. Granted, looking at 1 right down the middle for strike 3 isn't that great.
