Pretty sad to be setting the table then not feasting (or even nibbling). Today's line up is hurting us.

Well, I guess we got to get a game like this out of our system every so often - the losses to COVID had to surface eventually. Line up just too weak, esp with Raffi getting a rest. Kutter is getting a baptism into the bigs.

I meet this game with equanimity. Just not going to get upset if Jack Lopez can't get it done or whatever. The team is in a covid-induced pickle, they've already won this series, and they're in a good spot for the wild card. Que sera sera.

Who knows - the bats may get loose - still really early. I did like Kutter's stuff - just wasn't locating well. Plus - now we get to see Schreiber! Always fun to watch a side winder.

It's been fun to see guys come up to the big club and help them win a few games but it's not a sustainable formula. I don't expect to see Lopez or Arauz on the 40-man in December and Crawford might have just shown that he's not worth protecting from Rule 5 eligibility. It's such a huge gap between AAA and the majors these days.

I’m not sure he can’t be around in December.

Good thing they won yesterday because today's game is a lost cause.

Why is Seabold not even on this team when 11 roster have opened up for him to be? Who is in charge?

Why is Seabold not even on this team when 11 roster have opened up for him to be? Who is in charge? Well they’ve needed like 1 starting pitcher and he pitched yesterday so there’s your answer

Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are crushing the A's and the Mariners are facing Arizona and there's a pretty good chance that there will be a three-way tie 4 games behind the Red Sox. The upcoming Mariners series might actually be pretty important.
I'm glad we don't face Toronto again. Also glad that they have 7 games left against the Yankees.

Well, they were ramping him up earlier in the year and they haven’t needed a starter since he was ready Until today. Which he couldn’t do. Because he pitched yesterday.

I can't believe it - I just looked at the teevee and noted it is only the third inning? Seems like the game has been hours long (painful ones)
