If there's a shitty lefty on the mound, I think I'd take Bobby Dalbec over any hitter ever - Frank Thomas, Jimmie Foxx, you name him.

Pivetta with his patented jekyll hyde routine...if he can find some consistency we might have a no3 starter next season...if he stays like this...a no5 starter...

I was on the Pivetta train, but I’m starting to do the Homer Simpson creep…. maybe he’s, you know, not that good?

He is not bad per se, but he is a flyball pitcher in fenway... 5.60ERA at home 3.67ERA away

How is it that Jahmai Webster has spent approximately 50 hours speaking on air this season and has yet to utter a single word of use?

I was on the Pivetta train, but I’m starting to do the Homer Simpson creep…. maybe he’s, you know, not that good? He looks so good at times though... I could imagine him figuring out how to stay consistent and having a breakout season at age 29 or 30.
But I could also imagine him being... this guy, for the rest of his career.

Pivetta's got 2 WAR this year and doesn't make much money. That's a sweet deal for the Red Sox.
You're gonna have to pay through the teeth to get a pitcher worth a lot more than 2 WAR. Look at what the Blue Jays did to get Jose Berrios (a 3 WAR pitcher).

Depends on what you want to do with him. He has been a tremendous pickup! And this is his first season with flyball tendencies. If you can trade up, sure...but you can also give him another shot at the back of the rotation...I feel there is still unused potential.

Lowther of the Hill People.... Wonder what the over/under age for getting that reference is. I've got 48.

The Red Sox have already hit 7 balls over 100mph in this game (they're 4 for 7 on those). And 5 for the Orioles (3 for 5, but 2 HRs).
ADD: And in this inning they're 2-2 on 66 and 67mph.
